What Happened
The Croft School's South End location was built to be something rare. A school where over half the families receive financial aid, where every kind of family belongs, and where every child is known by name. When its previous management committed financial fraud, all of that was at risk of disappearing.
But parents refused to let that happen.
A group of families came together, formed South End Village Academy, and set up a registered nonprofit to take over. We have a board. We have a plan. What we need now is funding to keep teachers in classrooms and our children learning.
